I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with 11 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including state hospitals treating chronic mental illnesses. I have experience in clinical outpatient settings focusing on the treatment of personality disorders and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, as well as trauma. My most recent experience is in helping others overcome addiction through medical detox, rehabilitation, and recovery-based group therapy.
I completed my Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology at Bowie State University. There is no "one size fits all" approach to healing, and my training in various treatment modalities prepares me to help meet clients where they are. My overall goal is to help clients create a healthy perception of themselves, their families, and the world.
I am presently accepting new clients for telehealth services to help clients feel more comfortable in their own setting while being flexible with scheduling. I understand the demands of the world, and I am looking to make treatment helpful and healing–not add more pressure.
