I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate transitions and struggles in their daily lives. I utilize aspects of play therapy, as well as creative and active interventions, and believe that a trusting relationship between the client and therapist is at the center of effective therapy. I am passionate about partnering with children and their families, ensuring that feel respected and supported. In my practice, I work with clients from a variety of different backgrounds and adjust my therapeutic approach to fit each person’s particular needs and developmental level.
In addition to my counseling experience, I have worked in the field of education in a variety of different roles, including behavior intervention, teaching, and school counseling. I have worked with young people aged 3-18 and am well versed in child development, psychoeducation, and career and post-secondary counseling.
I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you/ your child to be your most authentic self; where you are heard, validated, and understood. During our time together, we will work as a team to identify your strengths, areas for growth, and goals for healing and change.
