Therapy isn’t about performing insight. It’s about learning how to respond to your life differently. A lot of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who are tired of repeating the same patterns, in relationships, at work, or in how they speak to themselves. You may understand why you do what you do, but that understanding hasn’t necessarily translated into change. That’s where the work begins.
In our sessions, we work on both the why and the what-now. We look at where your anxiety comes from, how it shows up in your relationships and your work, and what it would feel like to stop managing it and actually move through it. I'm active in sessions. I'll ask questions, offer observations, and challenge you when it's useful. I'm not here to just listen.
