As your therapist, I view my role as a compassionate and informed partner on your journey, and want therapy to feel like a soft place to land throughout your week where you feel challenged, uplifted and deeply understood. I work with artists, creatives, and helper-types who feel inherently sensitive and attuned to the world around them, and are looking for a space to process emotions and address barriers that might be preventing them from living their most balanced and supported lives. I am skilled in helping adults and adolescents navigate difficulties with their mood, relationships, self-esteem, trauma, grief and life transitions.
I am a relational and psychodynamic therapist and use expressive arts based techniques informed by my dual training in social work and music therapy. My style is warm, grounded, holistic and affirming. In our discussions, we’ll be curious together and I’ll balance sharing feedback, while working to co-create a space where you define how your sessions unfold.
Therapy looks different for everyone because we all come with our unique identities, strengths and experiences that shape us. It’s an honor for me to build alliance with others, and to join you in contemplating life’s hardest questions.
