I help people survive life's big transitions. When our "normal" is altered, we are caught between a world barreling forward and emotions tethering us back. I help clients navigate career changes, empty nesting, divorce, illness, and more. Maybe you feel grief or regret about a loss or anxiety and uncertainty about the future. I have the personal experience and clinical training to help you navigate these challenges. Changes are hard. Sometimes overwhelming. But the human spirit is incredible and it's an honor to help clients re-discover themselves when the self they knew feels lost. Your past is valuable and so is your future.
I practice using Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. Incorporating skills from each, I help clients non-judgmentally examine patterns of thoughts, relationships, and behaviors. Together we will explore how patterns play out day-to-day and you'll experience the confidence that comes with understanding yourself.
My counseling blends personality and professional skills. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. You can expect to laugh and you may be challenged. Beginning counseling can be scary. My role is create an space that feels comfortable, safe, and natural. You are valuable, capable, and powerful. I want to help you discover that you.
