Are you seeking trauma-informed care that integrates mind and body? Does cognitive behavioral therapy feel limiting and impersonal to you? Are you curious about cultivating a deeper, more compassionate relationship with your inner emotional life? Is it important to you that your therapist is LGBTQ+ affirming and social justice oriented? If so, my approach may be a good fit for you. I enjoy working with individuals (15+) and couples who are coping with issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, parenting, life transitions, academic challenges, identity, self-esteem, and loss.

Taking a holistic perspective, I see individuals and their communities as complex, embodied systems. I frequently draw from from experiential, psychodynamic, somatic, mindfulness, and parts work techniques. I am, however, most interested in developing warm, collaborative relationships with clients that make them feel safe in exploring their inner world.
I am a supervisee of Hannah Pocock, LCSW. I earned my master's in social work at Virginia Commonwealth University and hold a doctorate in art history from the University of Michigan. I have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and am interested in how yoga can support trauma survivors. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, thrifting, and yoga.
