I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor. Throughout my years of experience, I have supported people with a collaborative, client centered approach. My style is open and is based in compassion without judgement. I work to understand and support clients in a way and at a pace that is comfortable for them. I often work with individuals who are moving through various life transitions (changing relationships, jobs, menopause, having adult children, accepting a new diagnosis), going through grief and loss, seeking support with their history of trauma, struggling with current events, or facing daily responsibilies.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, using several different methods based on individual needs. These methods can include client centered and relational therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and strength-based approaches.
I believe that therapy is about working together toward each person's goals. I am here to support people along this journey so they are not facing these challenges alone.
