Let me tell you a little about myself because if we’re going to partner on your healing journey, you deserve to feel comfortable with who I am. I have been in the field for over 25+ yrs, a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, & a Certified EMDR Therapist. I specialize in helping individuals navigate: Eating & weight-related disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, & unhealthy relationships with food), Trauma, both “big-T” & “little-t”, Mood disorders & Ministry Wounds & Trauma – helping people in ministry who’ve experienced pain & trauma from being in ministry. As a ministry family I know bc I have been there & healed!
I integrate a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), among others.
As a lifelong Christian and the wife of a pastor, I believe spiritual health is foundational to emotional and physical wellness. For clients who desire and request Christian counseling, I weave Christian faith into our therapeutic work. Yes—it’s okay to have Jesus and a therapist too!
