I am a warm, affirming, and empowering therapist. I graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Practice of Social Work. I found my calling after completing undergraduate in Early Childhood Education (kudos to our teachers!) and Sociology/Psychology. These experiences paved the way to my clinical social work journey. I obtained clinical licensure by working with adolescents in both school and therapeutic settings, foster/adoptive families, and adults with serious persistent mental illness.
I am certified in Play Therapy, including Telehealth techniques. I utilize a strengths based, trauma and culturally informed approach to therapy. I provide psycho-education and exercises for managing symptoms and stressors through CBT for Anxiety, DBT for mood, behavioral activation plans for Depression, and trauma- informed grounding techniques for PTSD.
I provide a safe space during sessions to work on treatment goals, skills building, crisis interventions, or to chat for a few about your favorite video game or TV show!
