My name is Kristin Mendelsohn Troy and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Sherman Oaks, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I received my Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and conducted post-graduate work at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Behavior Intervention. I work with adults, teens, and school-age children. I specialize in assisting with anxiety, stress, trauma, families with members with developmental differences, and individuals going through difficult life transitions.
I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for adults, young adults, teens, and school-aged children who may be dealing with anxiety, stress, and difficulty due to life transitions and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges.
I also have experience providing parent training, working with women and children who have experienced family violence, and members of families who have children or siblings with developmental differences.
