I believe each client is the expert in their own story and I strive to provide a warm and non-judgmental space to allow them to feel safe to explore those chapters as they are ready. I work collaboratively with each client on identifying realistic and attainable goals that they can implement into their daily life to allow growth and taking back control. I employ a holistic approach to allow the client to see themselves as a whole person and not just their diagnosis. I am open to natural treatments to help clients learn and understand the connections to their nutrition, sleep routines, exercise, and internal self-care.
My approach is to tailor to the individual client’s needs, most often using techniques from CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, and client centered therapy. I enjoy taking an artistic and musical approach to therapy sessions with my clients to explore thoughts and feelings in a unique way.
I encourage parental involvement in their child’s therapy to allow for support, education and progress in their goals. I provide treatment for a variety of concerns. I especially enjoy working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use, life transitions, as well as women with infertility issues due to personal experience.
