I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and self-defeating thoughts/behaviors. As a therapist, ADHD coach, and long-time yoga and mindfulness instructor, I offer a holistic and eclectic approach to counseling, viewing each client as an individual with unique life stories, areas of strength and areas of needed growth. My goal is to help my clients feel empowered in their lives so they can build - or get back to - a happy, conflict-free and fulfilling life, day-to-day.
I also offer individual and group LPC Supervision for candidates in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. All supervision groups are virtual.
My therapy is heavily influenced by the modalities of Positive Psychology, Mindfulness/MBSR and Biofeedback. I have training in EMDR, IFS, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I seek to help my clients build self-esteem, and to love and accept themselves unconditionally. In doing so, develop healthy coping strategies and begin to resolve difficult life situations.
I have extensive experience with older teens and clients in their 20s and 30s, giving me unique insight into modern issues affecting emerging adulthood and these stages of life. I am highly-proficient in Spanish, and provide an informed multicultural lens in my therapy.

Calm Heart Counseling LPC Supervision Group
Now offering this dynamic biweekly, virtual LPC supervision group. This 2 hour group will count towards 2 weeks (40 hours) of full time work, and meets the requirements for Licensed Professional Counseling supervision for Pennsylvania. This group is appropriate for everyone, but if you are interested in working with any of the following, you may benefit from my unique professional experience: adolescents or young/emerging adults (teens, 20s, 30s) in a clinical or school setting, ADHD, CBT, Mindfulness (MBSR), EMDR, or Visualizations/Parts work. I currently work with teen and adults of all ages in my private practice.
