The focus of what I offer is to invite and empower you to practice trusting the wisdom of your body. By doing this, a more secure and trusting relationship with yourself can begin to develop. With practice, this can help you to navigate stressors and aid you in trauma recovery. A person generally finds relief, compassion, and an empowered sense of self from this process.
I practice from a somatic (body-listening) approach. Together we begin naming and recognizing your nervous system states, develop habits in orienting to safety, and provide time, space, and support for your body to complete natural somatic stress release cycles. Sometimes movement is used, and everything is invitational and by choice.
