I am a licensed clinical social worker and a proud native Texan. I am sensitive to matters of sexual orientation, culture, race, ethnicity, and religious or spiritual affiliations, with specialized training in supporting LGBTQ, transgender, and gender-variant communities. My goal is to partner with clients to find practical solutions within their existing frameworks, skills, and abilities to enhance their mental and emotional well-being and improve life circumstances.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M and my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I have extensive experience teaching parents effective discipline methods that build and repair relationships with their children.
I am here to walk beside you through your struggles and challenges until you feel ready to move forward independently, confident in your value and capabilities. I am particularly skilled at building trusting relationships with clients, including teenagers who may feel skeptical about therapy or therapists.
