Being human is complex. We are shaped by early experiences, relationships, environments, and beliefs that often operate outside of conscious awareness. These patterns can become deeply ingrained and may influence how we think, feel, and relate to others, even when they no longer serve us. Over time, they can contribute to feelings of anxiety, disconnection, or shame. Symptoms, while wildly uncomfortable, may reflect biological predispositions, unresolved pain, unmet needs, or protective patterns that have become maladaptive. Therapy offers a supportive space to examine these patterns, develop insight, and strengthen resiliency.
While I draw from all theoretical orientations, my approach is primarily a blend of depth psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, and humanistic values. This allows us to explore unconscious patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, support behavioral change, regulate the nervous system, and develop a compassionate relationship with self.
