Hello. My name is Kristin Cantella. I am a licensed Psychotherapist/Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a Trauma-Informed therapist, helping clients overcome barriers from the past that get in the way of living the ideal you want to live. I help individuals, couples, and teens ages 14 and older. I assist clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma reactions, relationship issues, addiction, and unwanted habits. My communication style is compassionate, engaging, and collaborative.
I create a safe, compassionate environment where exploration of feelings can occur and where clients can feel comfortable tapping into their emotional truth and vulnerability. I first became interested in therapy when I was in high school. My school offered a peer counseling program, where we offered support to other students.
I found that I really loved helping others and it came naturally to me. I love helping clients bring about positive change in their lives, and to be a part of that journey with them is very rewarding. I feel honored to walk alongside clients on the healing path and enjoy the process tremendously.
