I enjoy working with individual children and adults who may be experiencing some sort of challenge in their life. These challenges may be related to anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, relationship difficulties, self-identity as well as many other life difficulties. Whatever your life challenge may be, I work to create a warm, open and safe environment to help you work through it. Counseling is a collaborative process that is built on the foundation of the client-counselor relationship, which is something that I work hard to build from the first session.
I also work to ensure the process is both client-centered and strengths-based in order to support each individual as they work to reach their desired goals by utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing, mindfulness and psychoeducation.
