I believe that counseling is best in a relaxed & supportive environment that encourages you to pursue personal growth & goals. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 18 years of experience in the counseling field. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, & groups dealing with a variety of issues. I am a married mother of 2 & have a passion for working with individuals & couples. I, also, have experience working very well with: anxiety, depression, grief & loss, phase of life issues, anger, abuse/trauma, communication, relationship conflict, parenting issues, domestic violence, & trained in EMDR.
I have experience in private practice, but I have also worked in a hospital crisis unit and in emergency departments assessing those dealing with a variety of issues for immediate care. My wide range of professional experiences help me bring a rich perspective and skill set to the counseling process.
My practice offers the ability to accept commercial insurances. We also offer a discounted sliding fee scale for those that need to/choose to pay out of pocket. We offer daytime, evening, and weekend hours for appointments and are able to schedule a new client's first session expediently.
