I’m Kristi Niemeyer, a therapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals coping with trauma and other mental health conditions. I have worked in the field of social work for over two decades with experience with the senior population, death and dying, and with veterans and their caregivers in mental health care and addictions. I have specialized training in treating chronic pain.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in modern, evidence-based practices. I have been formally trained in several modalities including CBT, exposure, and interpersonal based therapies. I am skilled in listening to a client’s story and working collaboratively to formulate an individualized plan that will help to effectively and efficiently reduce suffering.
I am passionate about the work I do, specifically, in helping others to find a sense of purpose or to ease suffering.
