Welcome! I’m a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in mental health, including inpatient, outpatient and community settings. It is important to me to provide a personalized experience for each person who begins the therapy journey with me. This includes providing evidence-based treatment approaches and working together to find the perfect fit for you!
I am part of a team that was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) by the Behavioral Tech Institute. Other approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
My areas of speciality/interest include borderline personality disorder and other personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, adverse religious experiences and moral injury, religious trauma, diabetes/chronic illness, ADHD and hoarding disorder.
I also provide clinical supervision and practice building skills workshops.
As we build the therapeutic relationship, my role is to guide you through acknowledging internal experiences that keep you stuck in suffering. I begin my work with you from a neutral approach, and my goal is to assist you in building toward actions that promote identifying and living your own values.
