Sometimes life’s challenges can change you so much that you begin feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure, as you question who you are now. Whether you’re exploring your identity through life’s transitions, facing anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic illness, or narcissistic abuse, therapy can help you find your footing. Clients describe me as warm, accepting, genuine, & compassionate. I provide a supportive space where you can heal, gain practical coping skills, recognize your strengths, & move toward the life you want. I’m also trained in EMDR, an evidence-based therapy used to treat trauma & many other concerns.
While I’m a therapist, I am a human first who has felt the anxiety and uncertainty of making the decision to reach out for help. Because of this, I’m much more compassionate towards my own clients who are unsure of where to start or if they will be judged. I always want to be that caring, gentle place where you will feel accepted and comfortable in my care.
I love helping you see your strengths, and to use those strengths to move you from where you are now to where you want to be in life. I’m also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), which is used successfully for trauma and many other issues.
