About
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with adolescent and adult clients from a person-centered perspective. Utilizing a person-centered approach to therapy, I believe that therapy is built on the foundation of trust and rapport between the client and the therapist. I respect and affirm you as an autonomous and capable person. I have extensive training and experience working with patients with eating disorders from a non-diet and Health At Every Size approach, LGBTQ+ patients, folks with disabilities and chronic pain, and Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families.
As a disabled person, I have lived experience to help patients with congenital and acquired disabilities and pain. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ patients and those with eating disorders and disordered eating, ages 18 and older. My practice affirms patients of all genders, sizes, abilities, socioeconomic statuses, races, religions, and ethnicities.
I offer a non-judgmental and accessible space where each client can explore what brings them to therapy. Compassion, knowledge, and support are the foundation of my work as a therapist. I offer sessions via Telehealth and in person, with availability during the week and the weekend.
