I believe that every individual should receive therapy that is centered on one’s own wellbeing and desire for self-importance. My goal is to help individuals accept and trust themselves and to feel valued being themselves. I have worked alongside BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, those within the criminal justice system, and intersecting identities. I have a background in supporting individuals who experience anxiety, depression, traumatic symptoms, personality disorders, and schizophrenia. I believe identity is a key element in understanding the individual and their relationship within wider systems.
I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, existential-humanistic counseling, and solution-focused therapy. I enjoy working with pre-teens, teens, and adults. I am skilled in mental health assessments including diagnostic, personality assessment, recommendations, and cognitive ability testing. I help find strengths from within.
After graduating from University of Denver's Forensic Psychology program and working in the criminal justice system, I am able to apply non-judgemental empathy to difficult situations. We do not always treat ourselves with the kindness we deserve and I hope that I can help you find comfort and confidence in who you are and who you will become.
