About
Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, a life transition, family/parenting concerns, or other mental health issues, we are all trying to better understand ourselves and break free of our limiting patterns and beliefs. My approach to therapy involves a strong foundation in formal therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, family systems, and others, while at the same time recognizing that you are the expert of your own life, and it is through the therapeutic process that you will come to gain valuable insights, recognize your potential, and enhance your capacity for self-love.
It is only after trust is formed that healing begins, and through genuine curiosity, acceptance, and humor, I create a safe place to begin the therapeutic process. With the use of coping skills, psychoeducation, exploring early impactful experiences, we will work together to rewrite unhealthy narratives, break old patterns, and grow.
I am a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and sister. I love people and I find intrinsic value in the connections made during the therapeutic process. My life philosophy is that we all exist on purpose and for a reason, and I find it a privilege to go side-by-side with people on their journey and to be present and available for those in their time of need.
