Rather than framing your life experiences as medical diagnoses, I take a holistic approach, focusing on the qualities and strengths that make you who you are. You will learn to celebrate your uniqueness rather than wishing you were different. I will support you as you practice prioritizing your personal values over the opinions and expectations of others.
Therapy modalities my clients find most helpful are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT); and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Often clients simply need someone to listen, affirm, and help them sort out and manage current stressors. We decide together which approach is right for the issue at hand.
