Taking a psychodynamic approach to therapy, I work most effectively with those who want to increase their understanding of why they do what they do, and how past relationships (with themselves and others) influence current behavior, concerns, and "stuck points". It is with this new understanding that they can choose to change patterns that are no longer working for them.
I'm a generalist psychologist often working with concerns of anxiety, depression, relationships (including couples therapy), LGBTQ+ issues, masculinity and gender roles, identity development, life transitions, and family. I specialize in eating and body image concerns and approach therapy within a Health At Every Size (HAES) framework.
