About
Conceiving a baby can be challenging. Infertility and pregnancy loss can effect your identity, life plans, relationships, and your coping strategies. Many individuals and couples going through infertility feel helpless, sad, isolated, angry, guilty, jealous of pregnant friends and family, frustrated, and nervous about the future. It is often difficult to make decisions about treatment, especially when partners do not agree on the next step. Very often, people find it hard to think or talk about anything other than having a baby. The idea of feeling and experiencing joy may feel inconceivable.
I am one of few therapists in NJ with formal training in infertility including pregnancy loss, TFMR, birth trauma and 3rd party reproduction including donor recipient consultations. I am a certified PMH-C and active member of ASRM. I have extensive experience with individuals and couples experiencing infertility and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Making the difficult decision to begin therapy can feel overwhelming and scary. I believe everyone needs support, compassion and empathy. We are social beings who rely on others for many of our needs. I ensure my clients feel they are seen, heard and supported. I create a collaborative, safe and warm environment to enable my clients to achieve their goals.
