It seems like the littlest things set you off and you can’t help but snap. Something within causes you to react but you can’t quite put your finger on it. You dreamed of being a supportive, loving, patient parent, partner, friend and now you feel frustrated because things that shouldn’t bother you, do. You feel exhausted because even when you end the day vowing to “do things better tomorrow,” you find yourself with similar feelings of guilt the next day. Life has a way of bringing out the parts of us that we have pushed down for years, and my hunch is you're here to address them.
I love working with women to help them identify patterns within themselves, develop effective coping skills, and process their past experiences so that they can be present in their relationships. In addition to talk therapy, I am EMDR basic trained, and I love adding this research-based method as a way to achieve deeper healing.
