Kristen K Wold, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in Farmington
My specialization is working with women who struggle with depression, anxiety, or trauma. Women who are having problems developing or sustaining relationships; who are finding it difficult to establish or move forward with goals and dreams; who are feeling emotionally disconnected or who are stuck in a negative cycle. In our work together, we will explore limiting beliefs, negative thought processes and early childhood experiences which may be contributing to current struggles.
With over 20 years of experience in business management, and as a student of yoga for over 15 years, I offer a unique perspective. I help clients explore the connection between mind and body and believe incorporating the body is imperative to healing mental health symptoms.
I have completed the basic level training in EMDR, an evidenced-based practice which has proven effective for the treatment of trauma. I have also completed advanced training in the use of Ego State Therapy and EMDR in the treatment of complex trauma.
