About
Experienced, thoughtful, caring, supportive, and ethical. These are the attributes that enable me to be successful in helping my clients with their problems. I see therapy as a collaborative process that is tailored to your needs and goals. I am practical and take an educational approach that will give you necessary skills to reduce suffering and find peace of mind. I have over 20 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist and am continually amazed by the strength of my clients and their capacity for growth and change. Let's work together to help you live your best life!
In addition to earning a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I completed a Fellowship in Health Psychology and Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri. This training provided me with the ability to assist individuals and families with the changes that come with injury and illness (chronic pain, stroke, brain injury, cancer, other neurological conditions).
We have all known pain, sadness and anxiety that can get in way of living a meaningful life. I have the skills to effectively treat anxiety, depression and PTSD. These include Mindfullness Meditation Training, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches will help you learn to live your best life.
