I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving North Carolina and Michigan. I have worked with various populations including people in crisis, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, miscarriages, suicide, identity concerns, life transitions, men’s issues, and relationship problems. I work primarily with adults.
I practice a positive and holistic approach to therapy that emphasizes finding a balance in life by improving self-esteem and self-care. I take a person centered approach meaning you are in charge; we go at your speed and things should always be comfortable for you during therapy.
My clients typically tell me how much better they feel after one session. You can expect rapport building initially; I want to hear your story! Mostly, clients tell me they feel like they have chatted with a friend but realize there has been growth in the conversation. I do accept BCN!
