As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am committed to working systemically with individuals, couples, or families. Being Trauma Certified, I seek to understand how a person's pain is both interpreted and dealt with in everyday relationships and life. The presenting problem clients bring into therapy is often a symbol of their pain, opening the door to a greater understanding of their unresolved questions and fears. Regardless of the presenting problem, my therapeutic approach is to create a safe space where clients can relax their defensive postures and commit to understanding the deeper dynamics at play.
Addiction, infidelity, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, traumatic experiences, grief, marital tensions/high conflict couples, are areas of focus. I work under the assumption that we are humans who desperately seek to make sense of this life and find ourselves bumping up against our deepest questions in our most intimate relationships.
I offer one hour sessions as well as intensives. The intensives are one on one focused care for six to twelve hours in a span of one to two days. They are the equivalent of months of therapy. If this resonates, I would be honored to start the journey with you!
