Do you or your child find it challenging to ... Connect and build relationships with peers? Be flexible when there is a change in plans? Manage tasks and responsibilities? I enjoy working with adults, parents, and children with diagnosed or suspected neurodiversity and anxiety. Driven by your goals, we can work to strengthen skills in coping, communication, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and interpersonal dynamics. Some are looking to learn skills, tools, or strategies, while others come to therapy to make peace with the parts of themselves that feel different or unappreciated. My hope is to create space for both!
My approach to therapy is collaborative, affirming, strength-based, and built on strong rapport and respect. I use a variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness. Together we decide in partnership, the focus, speed, and approach to therapy.
My emphasis is on building a strong connection including humor, compassion, humility, and authenticity. During our consultation call I will strive to learn about your needs, answer questions you may have, and see if we are a good fit to work together.
