Hello! My name is Kristen Ayers, and I am a mental health therapist providing services to all adult clients, with a focus on helping older adults. I specialize in helping people who are experiencing depression and anxiety, as well as those who are struggling with grief and loss. I work well with people who are feeling misunderstood and need a safe, understanding space to share what they are going through. I love working with people who are open to new ways of thinking about their problems and have a desire to be a part of the positive change they want for themselves. Whether you are 25 or 85, I am here to help!
I specialize in aging-related concerns, grief and loss, and end of life issues. Many people experience anxiety and depression as they face the challenges of chronic illness and physical decline. Utilizing a combination of modalities, I work with people to help them find acceptance and peace within the aging process.

Groups
LISW Supervision Group-Virtual Ohio, Saturday AM
This group is to support MSW, LSW social workers working on obtaining their independent licensure. Sessions are focused on ASWB exam prep through coverage of topics that may be found on the exam, as well as practice test questions. Group will also explore any difficult or challenging cases that a clinician may face throughout the week. Kristen Ayers, MSW, LISW-S, leads the group, and has specialization in Aging, End of Life, Grief and Loss, ADHD and Neurodivergence, and Dementia. Kristen has experience in hospice field work, group therapy and individual therapy settings.
