About
I was drawn to the work of therapy because I believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. I have experienced the safety offered by this type of relationship as both clinician and client, and believe that this safety creates new harmony and courage within an individual’s self and relationships. I believe that the client is the expert on their experience, and I approach each session with humble curiosity. I love my work and look forward to the honor of walking alongside you on your journey.
I am an integrative, trauma-informed, and relational psychotherapist whose practice includes Emotionally Focused Therapy as well as tenets of Existential and Systems modalities. Due to my lived experience, I am passionate about supporting the healing of those who experience distress related to conflicts between religious teachings and their sexuality.
Clients have expressed that I am warm, relatable, and supportive. They tell me that our process together feels valuable to them, and they speak to seeing meaningful progress and change in their relationships to themselves, others, and the world around them. I value humor and grace in the therapeutic setting and am an excellent and present listener.
