It takes courage to acknowledge that our old ways of doing things are no longer serving us. Sometimes we feel that change is needed but we don't know where to start. I work from a foundational belief that ALL of us are capable of taking the steps necessary to actualize our full potential - the brilliance of who we truly are - and that sometimes old patterns get in the way.
Through my work, I aim to help increase awareness and curiosity in order to explore the factors that may be contributing to ongoing traumatic responses, anxiety, depression, maladaptive coping or any other uncomfortable symptoms.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches in my work depending on each individual’s needs and have training in Contemplative Psychotherapy which is mindfulness based, EMDR Therapy. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families.
