My approach to treatment is person-centered, empowering the client to lead sessions at their own pace. My philosophy is that anyone can make a change if they have the proper tools and support, and my goal is to help my clients find paths that set them up for success. I am an EMDR Approved Consultant with EMDRIA.
I utilize a mixture of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Talk Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapeutic modalities depending on client needs. These modalities focus on shifting emotions associated with thoughts, therefore improving emotion regulation.
