For months I’ve gone back and forth with what to write on my profile and where I’ve struggled is trying to be like the rest, and that’s not me. The truth is, I don’t want to sell myself, I want individuals who want to work and get better. I want to apply the skills and techniques that I’ve learned over the years to help people every day to get better, and eventually, not “need” me. For me, this is not about specific techniques or trainings, it’s about having support in the vulnerable moments so that we can successfully face the things that we struggle with, and do it differently.
I help in a variety of ways. Open, honest , direct communication mixed with a variety of metaphors and random adhd thoughts. I explore perspective, emotions and the logic we often do not understand or disregard as a means to choose something new.
Making changes in life is often easier to do than we think. The most difficult part of change is remaining consistent in those moments when it feels like what we imagine wanting, is not an available option.
