There is really no issue to big or too small to bring to therapy. I have seen people go through so much positive change because of their work in therapy and think it is such an awesome process. Just because we can go through life in survival mode and bouncing off our ups and downs, does not mean we should. I love to talk about everything therapy, so I encourage people to reach out.
I specialize in trauma, grief and loss, and addiction. I have worked in hospital settings as well as residential treatment, so I have an understanding of varying severities of mental health issues. I see a lot of people who have been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, PTSD and bipolar disorder. I have worked in military and criminal justice settings.
Everyone needs some extra support at some time in their lives. Everyone questions their decisions and feels anger, fear, and shame. Nothing is as isolating as having transitions and changes happen in your life, and not be sure how to process them or have someone with whom to process them.
