** Anxiety, panic disorder, trauma, PTSD, Psychological Testing and Evaluation ** Anxiety is physically painful. Your heart races. Your muscles tense. Your palms sweat. You have an overwhelming sense of dread as your natural fight or flight response kicks in. Do you fight back? Do you retreat to your own space? Or do you freeze in uncertainty? If you are experiencing anxiety on a daily basis, it is probably having a negative impact on your your health. Your back and shoulders hurt. Your quality of sleep is poor. You are fatigued, but you make yourself busier to justify your exhaustion.
I help people who are experiencing anger and anxiety to understand the ways in which those emotions serve them, how they can use those feelings to help themselves and their loved ones, and how to let go of those feelings when they are no longer helping and begin to hurt.
I see people whose stress has manifested into pain or sexual dysfunction, and I provide the validation they deserve. I teach them to feel fulfilled without validation from others. I use EMDR to help my clients to find the path to well-being that already exists in their own minds.
