Everyone has grappled with struggles and life challenges. I meet the person where they are at in those difficult times. For just over 20 years, I have been allowed the privilege to see multiple people tap into their potential and work toward becoming their true selves. I am honored to be part of that journey and want to help others feel that empowerment for themselves. The clients I get to work with tell me I am super easy to talk to and am so down to earth they enjoy our therapy sessions. I think this comes from a place of knowing we are all in this together and nothing can stop the power of our human spirit!
I find out what the needs you have are; and build a treatment plan based on that collaborative effort. Be it emotional support, problem solving, education, etc. finding the right approach for you -is the plan. Some of the specialties I have honed in on include: Personality Disorders, Trauma, Addiction, Couples work, Healthy Relationships, Self Esteem Work.
One of the biggest roadblocks to seeking therapy people say is feeling ashamed and fearful they will be judged. We are just humans wanting our needs to be seen and met. In a world of judgment, anger and, unacceptance, we need a safe space to be ourselves, heard, and accepted. Empathy and care are rare. I want to offer that to everyone.
