I welcome anyone looking for deep personal growth and healing. If you are tired of just surviving, looking for relief from stress and emotional pain, and yearn for a path to your real potential, I use science-based techniques addressing the whole mind/body. I have a 3-pronged approach; #1 Trauma techniques integrate traumatic memory #2 Self-monitoring skills aid in mindful awareness of feelings and body reactions, #3 Self-regulating tools empower you to be the best you can be, to deal with the stressors of your life. As your control increases, confidence builds, and true healing begins.
I use EMDR to address traumatic memory. EMDR has been used effectively with PTSD (combat veterans, victims of violence or natural disasters). We have all had trauma in our lives, in one shape or form. Residual dysregulation from trauma can show up as depression, anxiety or other mental health challenges. As we process the trauma in the body, symptoms recede
I also have expertise in children's behavioral problems. Parents may need help understanding the language of pain their children are using. Anxiety and depression can appear as bad behavior. I can help your child process the traumatic memory in their body that keeps them from being their best self. I use somatic art and sand play for trauma resolution.
