About
I have a deep commitment to helping people thrive. Strengthening the psyches of my clients has been a primary focus of my work as a therapist, assertiveness instructor & educator for over 20 years. Relationships shape our well being. Learning to feel more confident and connected is a goal therapy can help achieve. I work with individuals & couples. Do you want to improve self esteem? Years ago while teaching youth and adults in self defense, I discovered important components of healing. I believe that key to many issues is an awareness of our boundaries, the skills to set limits and the development of assertiveness. When we honor our integrity and self respect we create internal courage. Connections become easier and more healthy.
I have an eclectic approach. I use cognitive behavioral approaches as well as mindfulness & more. I will listen carefully and help sort out the root of your concerns, using strategies that best match the issue and you. Whether you have engaged in therapy before or have never sought out help, you deserve an experienced, respectful and skilled clinician.
