In my counseling practice, I work with children, teens, and adults. I work to support those who are navigating a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, oppositional defiance disorder, self-esteem, and other difficult life adjustments. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These techniques are designed to help clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns and process past traumatic experiences, ultimately improving emotional well-being and daily functioning.
The therapeutic process can be intimidating and difficult. My goal in the therapy setting is to provide an empathetic, direct, and supportive environment where individuals can gain the tools and insights they need to better manage life’s difficulties.
Whether facing overwhelming emotions, difficult relationships, or transitions, I work collaboratively with clients to build coping strategies and foster resilience, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives despite the challenges they may encounter.
