About
I walk with clients through life's challenges. I actively listen and provide support in a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients are empowered to recognize their strengths as they explore their concerns, heal, and grow. In utilizing a trauma-informed, strength-based, and client-centered approach, I work with clients to identify and develop treatment goals that are tailored to their unique needs. Upon a client's request, I can also incorporate faith (with emphasis in Christianity) into counseling as faith plays an integral role in an individual's identity and worldview.
My clinical scope has included working with children to adults in addressing concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, women's issues, and self-esteem. My practice utilizes modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Somatic-based interventions.
My clients have told me that what they appreciate about working with me is that I am easy to talk to and I foster a calm and safe environment. My clients have also expressed feeling listened to, understood, and equipped with the tools to increase their ability to healthily manage life’s difficulties.
