Hello! My name is Monica and I'm on a journey to understand the connection between hope and healing. Lately, it feels like we're all plants that have been left out in the cold for far too long, and at times it feels like there is no way forward, no way to keep growing in the bitter winter chill. It is my hope, however, that together we can find a new way to grow, one that challenges our own assumptions, pushes us out of our comfort zone, and motivates us to work toward something better and brighter.

Counseling is a brave and wonderful step and finding a positive therapeutic relationship without judgement is necessary for change and growth. Our counselors believe in a client centered, strength-based approach. They have training and experience in several modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions focused treatment and are experienced in the emotional, physical, and spiritual impacts of trauma.

Sisu Healing Partners provides therapy, sober companions, family coaching, interventions and sober transports. We are a team of highly trained individuals who strive to help guide your loved one on their journey to recovery. We work along side clients to help them create an environment that is safe for recovery. We believe that through healing the family system we can better support the individual on their road to recovery. Our goal is to create a creative and outside the box approach to recovery from use, eating disorders and other mental health disorders.

Welcome! Therapy can be a challenging process and I thank you for your courage in stopping by. I find value in collaborating with individuals to reach their self actualization and I believe in person-centered therapy and strength-based therapy to help individuals work towards their mental health stability.

As a systemic therapist and child of immigrants, I am interested in learning about how lived experiences inform perceptions, as well as mental and emotional states. Systemic stressors (such as family conflict, systemic poverty and racism, marginalization, etc.) are often at the root of mental health issues. Many of my clients deal with symptoms of anxiety and depression due to issues ranging from trauma and abuse to imposter syndrome, perfectionism, shame, and lack of self-worth.
