I provide Telehealth therapy throughout California. In addition to my private practice, I hold a Clinical Associate Professorship at Stanford University where I’m able to wear research, teaching, and supervisory hats. My approach to therapy is personalized integrating information about your unique circumstances with my training to deliver evidence-based practice. I provide trauma-informed individual and couple-based therapy for various issues including eating disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive and compulsive disorder, transitions, & relationship concerns.
My Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and training from an NIH-funded post-doctoral research fellowship, enables me to critically evaluate the latest clinical research, conceptualize complex situations, and build novel prevention & intervention programs inclusive of individuals from all backgrounds. I am compassionate, thoughtful, curious, & active in my approach.
I firmly believe we can all change when it’s needed. Building resiliency and hope is an important part of this process. My goal is to create a safe environment for you to process difficult emotions, accept painful circumstances, and build strategies for coping. All of this is in the service of building a more meaningful life. www.cristinrunfolaphd.com
