Welcome! I am so excited that you have decided to put "YOU" first! My name is Konje Byron, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I specialize in working with individuals who suffer from anxiety, difficulty coping with life stressors, grief and loss, relational conflict, communication challenges as well as those navigating and adjusting to life transitions. I have an extensive history of working with individuals with trauma and offer trauma informed care. I also have a heart for parents who may be overwhelmed with life's demands and need a safe space to BE and breathe!
As a Faith Based Counselor, I enjoy an eclectic approach to treatment. My modality of choice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as I believe that our belief system shapes our lives and drives our decision making. Additionally, I integrate Resource for Resilience Strategies which offers practical coping skills to help reduce stress related physical discomfort
