Sometimes it is difficult to see through the mental mazes our minds create. Sometimes intense emotions block our ability to see clearly. I offer a non-judgmental and honest space to explore your experiences. I believe each person can find the peace, fulfillment, and answers they seek and am honored to walk beside them on that journey. One of the most significant pieces to a good therapeutic experience is the “fit” between you and your therapist. I am caring and competent.

With over a decade of training and experience in DBT, couples therapy (EFT), trauma therapy (EMDR), collaborative divorce, and forensically informed therapy, we can find an approach that works for you. In addition to psychology training, I bring my own experiences as a former junior high teacher and attorney to our work. Teens and adults are welcome!

DBT Skills Group is structured like a class more than a support or processing group. You will learn valuable skills in communication, self-advocacy, emotional resilience and mindfulness. Group is a supportive environment to learn and practice new behaviors. Clients consistently report feeling this group is one of the most valuable things they have ever done! Attendance at group requires a pre-screening with Dr. Butler.
