ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. I help individuals achieve success in recognizing how their traumatic experiences, mental health symptoms, or personal relationship issues can affect their mental wellbeing. I work with individuals ages 12 and up who are experiencing or have experienced trauma, struggling with peer or parental relationships, low self-esteem, etc. Furthermore, I assist families who have a current Child Protective Services case that could potentially lead to removal of children by offering parenting, anger management, communication and conflict resolutions skills in order to rebuild the family structure.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology. While I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities, the actual counseling approach used with a client is determined by that client's level of need. I have helped many achieve constructive changes in their trauma and mental health.
I meet people exactly where they are in terms of their readiness to change. I incorporate a strength-based & client-centered approach, enhancing client's level of motivation for personal growth.
